Firewood needs to be below 20% mositure to burn well
Firewood burns best with a moisture content below 20%. At this level, the wood can ignite easily and produce a clean, efficient burn. When moisture content exceeds 20%, the wood loses heat output, and generates more smoke. Currently, the wood we have in stock is between 20 - 30%, but will be dry enough to burn in two months.
