We have plenty of wood in stock, it's just not dry enough for us to be happy selling it. Here's why
Firewood must contain less than 20% moisture to efficiently burn in most fireplaces or outdoor fire pits. Smokehouses and Barbeque Shops want wood with enough water content to create smoke to flavor the meat. Currently, our split wood is registering between 25 - 40% moisture levels. If you still wish to place an order, please call our office at (504) 308-0887 and we will get your request scheduled.
Our office will be closed the week of Christmas, December 22 - 28, 2025. All orders will be delivered starting on December 29th.
